How your MLA voted on amendments

After the abortion legislation passed, there were attempts to limit some of the most blatantly unacceptable aspects of what had been voted through. However, all amendments failed to pass.

Generally, those members who voted for abortion up to birth then followed this up by specifically supporting partial birth abortion (opposing a ban); specifically voting to oppose care being required to be given to babies born after an abortion and voting against a requirement that the human foetus be administered pain relief in late term abortion cases.

The exceptions to this in the Legislative Assembly were members who voted for abortion up to birth and then voted as follows on amendments. However all amendments failed and these members must bear equal responsibility for the deplorable legislation that they supported.
