Working in an abortion clinic can be extremely stressful. It’s a dirty job that few people want or understand. Pro-choice people praise you for your courage. Prolife people taunt you for your sins. They call what you do murder. You call it choice.
You are among a select few who carry the blood of abortion on your hands. When abortion is no longer acceptable in our society, you will no longer have the political, administrative, feminist and friend support you now have. These abortion advocates will be distancing themselves as far away from guilt as they possibly can. Unfortunately, since you have been an actual participant in the taking of human life, you will not be able to free yourself from the guilt as easily and you will find yourself alone. You will be taking the burden of guilt of an entire nation on your shoulders. This will be your reward for doing the dirty work for "choice."
Deciding to leave the abortion business after working hard at something you have believed in for so long is very difficult. I know because I have been where you are right now. I spent five years working in an abortion clinic and defending "a woman’s right to choose." But I also know that you will never find peace of mind or heart until you do leave. And when abortion is abolished in this country-- you will not find yourself alone but among friends who, like you, have found peace and reconciliation with God.
If you or anyone you know is in the abortion business and
would like to get out or would just like someone to talk to,
please call or write:
